This Privacy Policy explains how Deeze ("Deeze," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Deeze mobile application, website, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It also explains the choices and privacy rights that may be available to you.
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to contact@deeze.net.
Deeze creates an anonymous server identity when you first use the app. This allows core features to work before you create a registered account. We may associate the following information with that identity:
If you later sign in, Deeze may upgrade or merge the anonymous identity into the registered account so eligible wallet, purchase, reward, favorite, collection, and unlock data can remain available.
If you choose Google Sign-In, Google may provide Deeze with information you authorized, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. Deeze does not receive your Google password. Google processes your sign-in under its own privacy policy.
If Deeze adds other sign-in providers in the future, we will receive only the profile and authentication information that you authorize that provider to share.
You may provide or update profile information, including an avatar image. Anonymous users receive a default Deeze avatar. If you upload a custom avatar, Deeze stores the image with your Deeze user ID so it can be displayed as part of your profile.
Google Play processes Deeze Coin purchases and Deeze Plus subscriptions. Deeze may receive and store:
Deeze does not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account details. Those are handled by Google Play and your payment provider.
We collect information about how you use Deeze so we can provide, personalize, measure, and improve the Services. This may include:
Some recent history is stored locally on your device to support features such as History and navigation restoration. Deeze also processes selected behavior on its servers for personalization, content ranking, abuse prevention, and aggregate country-level performance measurement.
When you use the Services, Deeze and its service providers may automatically collect:
Deeze does not require precise GPS location for its current core features. Country information is used as a ranking and localization signal and may be inaccurate, particularly when you use a VPN or change device-region settings.
Depending on the feature and Android version, Deeze may request permission to:
Contact access is used on the device to let you choose a contact and assign a ringtone. Deeze does not upload your address book to its servers for advertising or profile building. You can deny or revoke permissions in Android settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable.
We use information for the following purposes:
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, Deeze relies on one or more of these legal bases:
You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
For users who are not entitled to an ad-free Deeze Plus experience, Deeze uses Google Mobile Ads and mediation partners to display banner, interstitial, native, and rewarded advertisements. Advertising providers may process device information, IP address, approximate location, advertising identifiers, consent status, ad impressions, clicks, and interactions to deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads.
Current mediation technology may connect with advertising providers such as Google AdMob, InMobi, ironSource/Unity, Liftoff Monetize/Vungle, Meta Audience Network, Mintegral, and Chartboost. The provider that serves an ad may change over time.
Where required, Deeze uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and store advertising consent choices. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can also manage your Google advertising settings or reset/delete your Android advertising ID through your device or Google account settings.
Plus users do not receive ordinary Deeze ads while the backend confirms an active ad-free entitlement. A Plus user may still voluntarily choose to watch a rewarded ad to earn Coins.
Advertising providers process information under their own privacy policies. For Google's advertising practices, see Google Advertising Policies.
Deeze uses Google Firebase services, which may include Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, and related app infrastructure. These services help Deeze understand discovery and conversion, diagnose crashes, configure features, deliver notifications, and improve app stability.
Firebase may process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, approximate location derived from IP, usage events, crash diagnostics, and notification tokens. Deeze does not use Firebase as the source of truth for wallet balances, purchases, or Plus entitlement.
For more information, see Firebase Privacy and Security.
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:
We may share aggregated or de-identified statistics that do not reasonably identify an individual.
Deeze does not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define personalized-ad disclosures as a "sale," "sharing," or use for targeted advertising. Where applicable, you may exercise an opt-out through the consent interface, device advertising controls, or by contacting us.
We retain personal information for only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing your account, preserving purchases and entitlements, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and complying with legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it.
An anonymous Deeze identity is still an account-like server record even though it may not contain an email address or name. Its data is linked to authentication credentials stored by the app.
Uninstalling Deeze, clearing app data, changing devices, or losing local credentials may make an anonymous identity inaccessible. Consumed one-time Coin purchases may not be recoverable from Google Play after that identity is lost.
If Google Play returns a valid active Deeze Plus subscription, Deeze may use the verified subscription token to safely recover the original anonymous identity and its wallet. This process may create an audit record of the recovery. We recommend signing in to protect access to your Deeze identity and purchases.
Deeze and its providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Privacy laws in those countries may differ. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated APIs, encrypted network connections, restricted service credentials, purchase verification, token rotation, access controls, and fraud-prevention checks.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Google account. Contact us promptly if you believe your Deeze identity, purchase, or account has been compromised.
Deeze is not directed to children under 13, or under a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age without legally valid authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
These rights may be subject to identity verification and legal exceptions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
You may permanently delete your Deeze account through the in-app Settings screen. Deletion may remove your profile, email, avatar reference, wallet, rewards, unlock history, favorites, collections, and other account-linked data from active systems, subject to legally permitted retention.
Deleting Deeze or deleting your Deeze account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. You must separately cancel Deeze Plus through Google Play to stop future renewals.
You may also submit a privacy or deletion request to contact@deeze.net. Include enough information for us to locate and verify the relevant account, but do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or private authentication tokens.
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states with applicable privacy laws may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, targeted advertising, sale or sharing, and appeals.
Categories of personal information Deeze may collect include identifiers; account and profile information; commercial and transaction information; internet or app activity; approximate geolocation; device and diagnostic information; and inferences used for content personalization. We collect and disclose these categories for the business purposes described in this Policy.
Deeze does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children for targeted advertising. To exercise an applicable state right, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.
Deeze websites may use cookies, logs, and similar technologies to operate pages, remember preferences, protect security, and measure traffic. Browser Do Not Track signals are not governed by a uniform standard. Where required, Deeze honors legally recognized consent and opt-out mechanisms.
We may update this Privacy Policy as Deeze, its providers, or applicable laws change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.
